RSS rules!

All right, all right, all right! The RSS thing is great. Although it did take me a while to nut it out but that is more to do with the fact that I am a stickler for not reading instructions, than any fault of the thing. I have wondered out loud whether the unwillingness to read instructions is, in fact, a character flaw. Maybe it really is just a character trait, rather than a flaw. Anyhoo, back to bloglines. I do actually have a few favourite blogs. So using bloglines means that I have them all in the one place. Revolutionary and brillant. I would like to be able to spend more time finding more blogs in netland but frankly don't have the time. I mean that TV will not watch itself! As far as using it in the library environment for our more internet savvy borrowers I can't begin to imagine how useful it could be. I assume the possibilities are endless and just wish I had the time at work to pursue this path. Hopefully in the future I can push forth with the bloglines in mind. It is a Brave New World. (or just the same old world with some clever tools being developed and used). Yes and here is my list of noteworthy blogs, etc - http://www.bloglines.com/public/deweysnightmare. If there is anyone interested and I am assuming there's quite a few (ahem) people, have a look at Jack Marx's Daily Truth. He is very funny and won the Walkley Award (some journalistic prize) for an article on his experience with Big Russ - http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2006/06/06/1149359738242.html. Well worth a read.
